About Our Company
M/S B.R. Dey, is primarily a civil engineering and construction company. Established in 1992, by Mr Bibudh Ranjan Dey, as a small construction farm the company has grown in strength over the years.
We got our first job as sub contractors under HCC. Bur soon break through came through Calcutta Metro Railways.
We proudly proclaim we are presently Central Govt Enlisted, Class -1 contractors, who have been awarded some of the most coveted and challenging projects and are a trusted name in Kolkata Metro circles.
The Team: Partners Profile
Mr Bibudh Ranjan Dey - A BSC Mathematics Honors (1980 Batch) from Calcutta University, Mr Dey has been a fine sportsman from his childhood days. He was an outstanding swimmer and represented the national team of Swimming and Water Polo from 1976 to 1982. He runs the company with the true spirit of a sportsman holding quality and integrity as the hallmark. It is under his able guidance the company has reached where it is today.
Maj Siddhartha Ganguli (Retd) has joined the company after taking premature retirement from the Indian Armed Forces in 2005. Being an infantry officer, he has served in some of the most diverse and inhospitable terrains of our country and commanded troops in counter insurgency operations. His experience has equipped him with strength to take new challenges, maturity to analyse problems, create and handle large teams.
The partnership of BR Dey and Maj S Ganguli has proved to be a successful combination of experience and enthusiasm, and they look forward to take the company to newer heights in the years to come.
We have an experienced team of qualified technical personnel and supervisors who carry out the field work under the guidance of Maj Siddhartha Ganguli.
Mr Barun Chandra has graduated from Bengal Engineering College, in Apr 1999 and joined our Co. He is also a associate member of The Institute of Engineers. With his strong will, industry and his eagerness to innovate he has become a indispensable member of the team.
